Strawhat 03:05
I went down to Mexico. I saw a woman standing there. She was working in the field; Spending some good time with the land. "I will tell what you need to know But you're the one who's got to ask." So I said, "Where'd you get that strawhat, baby? Where'd you get that strawhat from?" "Don't you remember, now, baby? I made it myself." So, I moved down to Mexico. I like the weather better there: All day in the sun. The breeze was cooling off her back. She looked at me and I looked at her. Her eyes were burning like a flame. She said to me, "Now that all that you know is real, Do you think you're ever coming back?" So I just said, "Where'd you get that strawhat, baby? Where'd you get that strawhat from?" "Don't you remember, now, baby? I'm made of love."

There's a killer from the north and he's headed south. His name is Father Winter and he's got a cold, cold mouth. He leaves you alone in the Spring But when he talks of cold and dark days, he'll leave you suffering! All winter long, all winter long: you gotta keep warm by the fire. All winter long, all winter long: you gotta stay lit with desire. There's a killer stuck inside the minds of men. His name is mediocre and he's trying to expand. Believe not the lies of the Man For they get their thrills and build and build but revenge is the land's! All winter long, all winter long: you gotta keep warm by the fire. All winter long, all winter long: you gotta stay lit with desire. All winter long, all winter long: I gotta work myself to seventy-five! All winter long, all winter long: God, I'm killin' myself just to stay alive! All winter long, all winter long: you gotta keep warm by the fire. All winter long, all winter long: you gotta stay lit with desire.

This old road ain't leadin' home. It's headed down the stairs. Look out, man, before you get caught up in his stare. "Be back by a certain time! It satisfies my soul!" "I'll be comin' in and goin' out...I'm under my control!" I ain't goin' nowhere. I ain't goin' home. You can feel me in the water when I tickle your toes. The risin' sun will settle up and light this side, again And reveal the plan and all the plants and the animals and man And remind us of a simple love/sun that lights this side again. I ain't goin' nowhere. I ain't goin' home. You can feel me in the water when I tickle your toes. I ain't goin' nowhere. I ain't goin' home. You can feel me in the water when I tickle your toes. I ain't goin' nowhere and now I'm bound to roam. I was a lamb to the slaughter but now I'm king to the throne.

Real Good 04:09
I bathed in the water and sipped from the brook And out of the branches, a staff I took. It carried me down away from the road, Away from the passerby cars that slowed. I'm taking a ride down with the water: Way on the bottom where all the rocks crawl to the sea. I've seen the good river and all that it has: Absolute life required with Man. Once in a while, a whole tree is carried Off by the water, balanced by fairies Into the deep and into the cold. Once again, I comfort myself: I'll go it alone. It's been good, real good. Now, I'm laying down in a wooden canoe, Just riding it out under the moon Over the falls and into the mist. Follow the call of Consciousness. Here is the truth! Here is the light! One of these times, I'm bound to get it right. It's been good, real good.

I wrote it in my room. No, this isn't it. I got rid of it when I was through. I turn the page on most. The third time is the charm: Father, son and holy ghost. I get mad when I can't get it right. It's not for me. It's for the one who might hold it tight. I see a black man beg On the corner of the street In the unforgiving heat. I say, "How are you?" You said, "He just wants booze." I said, "Maybe he needs a friend, Someone to lend a hand And I plan to." I just cannot go another day behaving like I've been behaving the last thousand days. Something has gotta happen by now! I know that I've got to make a change! I get mad when I can't get it right. It's not for me. It's for the one who might hold it tight. I just cannot go another day behaving like I've been behaving the last thousand days. Something has gotta happen by now! I know that I've got to make a change! So with that said, I'll turn the little lock, kick off my white socks and head to bed.

If you leave the dome light on, that's a lesson. They can come up out of nowhere like the wind And if it picks up, you'd be wise to get to steppin' 'Cause it's a long road ahead. If you leave the stove light on, that's a lesson For you to watch what you put inside you. They say, "Your body is the temple of the Most High." So, who would that make you? Mother Teresa, come and be with me When my love is all gone for good. When the city is spreadin' out into the mountains And when the towers are risin' up to the sky, While everybody's been searchin' for heaven somewhere out there, I think we've found it on the inside. Mother Teresa, come and be with me When my love is all gone for good.

Freedom Pie 03:38
How long must we live a lie; til the lie breaks forward and we all die? I want freedom, justice and peace but I'll give up my freedom for just a piece of the pie: The freedom pie, the justice pie, the peaceful pie. I'm sick of being offered just a piece 'cuz a piece'll give me peace for just a couple of weeks. I want pie: freedom pie, a justice pie, a peaceful pie. The filling's full but the crust is hard so I'll grit my teeth 'cause I am starving for pie: The freedom pie, the justice pie, the peaceful pie. Adam and Eve, Siddhartha Gautama, New Age, Zen, Monk: bahama mama! I want pie: the freedom pie, the justice pie, the peaceful pie. The blue funk will do me just as well so long as it saves me from the pits of hell. I'm sayin', "The blue funk will do me just as well so long as it saves me from the pits of hell." I want pie: a freedom pie! I want a justice pie, want a freedom pie! I want a freedom pie, a justice pie! I want a peaceful pie; I want a freedom pie! That's why we're sayin', "Hey, baby, where are we going? Hey, baby, what do we know? Hey, baby, where are we going to stay?"

Well, Jason is living like a king inside a town. He goes into the night when no one else is around And Killer will cut you to the soul with the green in her eyes: Oh, she'll make you feel, oh, so satisfied And Wednesday is a perfect combination of beauty in nature: She shows that innocence is born whenever there's labor And Clementine is the sweetest girl you ever laid your eyes on: She got more sun in her than ever on the horizon. Feline lion flyin' high. Free-flying lion flying high. Feline lion flyin' high. Free-flying lion flying high.

Cocaine Eyes 02:01
Cocaine Eyes, you were sent from heaven. She partakes of the bread that was made without leaven. Four years of my life was not all for naught. I believe she showed me something that I had forgot. In the back of her mind, I can see myself In a picture in her room at the top of her shelf. Those are the days that I'll never forget Especially, now, since she up and left. She's got cocaine eyes. Early in the morning, blowin' up her phone, Her eyes make me feel like I'm right at home. Late night parties at her best friend's pad Showin' sides of herself I thought were mine to have. It's cold without her in the hints of spring. At least I got a reason and a chance to sing. I chew up the bullet and I ask her to meet Just to see what those eyes have done to me. She's got cocaine eyes.

about

M.H.B. Random Lake, Wisconsin

During practice, the members of M.H.B. detected a foreign yet familiar substance in the jam room. We found that under the right musical circumstances the body emits an, until this point, undiscovered chemical. We called this substance M.H.B. What is M.H.B.? Its the chemical for grooviness., the medicinal soothing of the mind that only your favorite band can provide. That is M.H.B. We are M.H.B. ... more
